In 1993, with the opening of North Point Mall, the area of Alpharetta centered on North Point Parkway from Mansell Road to Haynes Bridge Road became a regional destination; drawing thousands of people each week to work, shop, play, and most recently live. Until recently, what we call the North Point Activity Center served as our community’s primary shopping and dining destination. While the district continues to be a destination, however, new competitors are drawing more attention and its auto-focused design with oceans of parking lots has become less appealing to consumers seeking pedestrian-friendly experience centers.
The time has come to create the next chapter in the North Point Activity Center’s life, and we want you to be play an active role in creating the future.
