Community Workshop To Update Recreation and Parks Plan For Next 5 Years

Released October 18, 2017 07:40 AM

A lot can happen in four years, especially when you’re having FUN! Since 2014, when the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Master Plan 2025 was first developed, the landscape of parks and recreation services in our community has greatly expanded with new parkland acquisitions and bond projects. Now it’s time to update the direction of the Master Plan, to encompass changes that have occurred, and to create a roadmap for the next 5-8 years. To do that, we need your help!

Please join staff from our Recreation and Parks Department, along with our consultants, for a community conversation designed to capture your ideas and interests for the future of recreation and parks in Alpharetta. The conversation is open to the public and will take place on Tuesday, October 24 from 6pm–7:30pm at Alpharetta City Hall. Our Community Workshop will be an active event, through which you are encouraged to share your thoughts and help to chart a course of action for the next 5-8 years of the Recreation and Parks Master Plan 2025.
