Released March 17, 2017 09:59 AM

Don’t miss your chance to participate in the 23rd annual Fulton Golden Games!  Register now for this Olympic-style series of local events for competitors 50 years or older.  Opening Ceremonies will be on April 26 at Bell Memorial Park in Milton, followed by month-long activities held through May 25.

Residents are invited to participate in track and field events, billiards, bocce ball, bowling, golf putt, table tennis, pickle ball, and more.  Try active events such as indoor rock climbing, virtual bicycle 5K, team line dance, hotshot contest, indoor biathlon, swimming, and Wii-bowling.  Or venture outdoors for a non-medal Nature Walk at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve on May 16.

Low-impact competition is also offered through Team Trivia, Texas Hold ‘em, Bridge and Canasta Tournaments.  And creative folks can try the new Art Showcase, featuring fun categories like Cell-phone Memories Challenge, Arts and Crafts Invitational, and Paint Out.

Fulton Golden Games is sponsored annually by the cities of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Fulton County.  Registration costs $20, which covers most events and the awards brunch.  Medals are presented to top finishers in each age category.
