Community Engagement

The North Point LCI Planning Project is intended to actively engage those who live, work, and play in Alpharetta to achieve a future vision for the district that reflects what those most likely to spend time there truly want.  Active participation by commercial property owners and business leaders is also crucial so that the resulting plan is economically viable and realistic.

Below you will find information on upcoming meetings, links to presentations and video from previous meetings, surveys you can take, and other ways that you can play an active role in planning the future of the North Point Activity Center.

Second Meeting

Thursday, October 19

Alpharetta City Hall

6:30 – 8:30 PM

Join planning and design professionals, including City staff, for a conversation about how the area around North Point Mall can be made into a walkable environment where the kinds of experiences Alpharettans crave are created.  We will use hands-on exercises and open conversation to get your ideas and input on the future for this important area of our community.  Key topics for this session include:

  •
  • Creating a “park once” walkable environment
  • Calming traffic along North Point Parkway
  • Redeveloping large areas of surface parking
  • Improving the district’s retail balance
