The Alpharetta Natural Resource Commission (NRC) is a group of seven to nine individuals appointed by the Mayor and the City Council to act in a hands-on and advisory capacity to promote the protection of Alpharetta's trees and other natural resources and to provide public education regarding environmental and conservation issues.




Together with David Shostak, City Arborist and Terry Porter, City Environmental Programs Coordinator, the NRC sponsors such events as:
