Rivers Alive Waiver

Join hundreds of volunteers for the 28th Annual Rivers Alive! The Alpharetta event will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 8:30 am – Noon.  Volunteers will help remove litter and debris from roadways, the Big Creek Greenways and other projects. This is a great event for families, scout troops, service groups and individuals! Help keep our water source and the vital habitats it supports clean and healthy!

The cleanup will be Alpharetta’s “Rivers Alive”, a joint program of the Environmental Protection Division’s statewide Rivers Alive Program and the Keep Georgia Beautiful Program. The annual Georgia Waterway Cleanup is expected to once again be the largest single volunteer effort to protect and beautify Georgia’s water resources.

We are asking groups to pre-register by calling (678) 297-6200 or emailing tporter@alpharetta.ga.us. Check-in will begin at Rock Mill Park at 8:30 am. The park is located at 3100 Kimball Bridge Road.

All volunteers under age 18 must have the Rivers Alive Waiver Form completed and signed by a parent before arriving at the event.

This Rivers Alive Cleanup is brought to you by the City of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Natural Resource Commission.
