Fall Youth Athletics Registration
ALPHARETTA RECREATION AND PARKS
The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department has announced the dates for registration for the fall 2012 youth athletic season for boys and girls. City resident registration begins on Tuesday, July 3. Open registration begins July 17. Registration continues through July 27 while space is available. Ages and fees vary for these programs which includes Lacrosse and Soccer. Registration is available online at www.alpharetta.ga.us. You must have an online customer account with us to register online.
In our youth sports leagues, children develop sport-specific skills, improve fitness, meet new friends, and most of all – have fun! Practices begin in mid-August and are typically one night per week. Games are played on weekends after Labor Day.
Volunteer coaching opportunities may be available to qualified adults. All potential coaching candidates must successfully complete the City’s criminal background check. Candidates are screened to ensure adequate knowledge in the sport in which they are applying to coach. Training opportunities may also be available. Head coaches are eligible for a discounted rate on resident registration fees.
