Alpharetta Downtown Historic District will light up at the 35th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on a NEW DATE: Friday, November 30, 2012 with pre-event festivities beginning around 5pm. The annual celebration will now fill the downtown streets with musical performances, Santa, holiday market and more!
Alpharetta’s Christmas 45 foot live blue spruce will come aglow along with over 100,000 additional twinkling lights in Downtown Alpharetta. The lighting of the town will occur just before the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus on a City of Alpharetta fire truck.
But before Santa arrives we must fill the “Cheer Meter” with Christmas spirit. To help us achieve this soaring spirit, North Point Community Church will present their “Christmas Cheer” program on a large performance stage right on the Downtown Alpharetta streets. We welcome their team and thank them for their “Miracle” sponsorship level on this community event!
We outreach to the community to participate and we hope for additional sponsors to help us create a wonderful winter celebration! More information is available on our website www.alpharetta.ga.us or 678-297-6078.
The 35th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is free to the public. Location is across from Alpharetta City Hall at 2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009. Parking is available at City Hall and Milton Center.
