Alpharetta Begins Fall / Winter Arts Programs September 9

The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department provides year-round cultural arts enrichment programs for the community; including visual arts programs for all ages and skill levels.  Fall and Winter programs begin the week of September 9 and are based at the Alpharetta Arts Center in Crabapple.  The Arts Center is located at 12624 Broadwell Road.

Fall and Winter programs include:

• Creative Clayworks for Children & Adults
• Building Blocks of Art
• Mini Art School
• Teen Drawing & Portfolio
• Painting for Adults with Maureen Engle
• Oil & Acrylic Painting

For a complete list of arts programs, please see pages 8 through 12 of Alpharetta’s Fall / Winter Leisure Guide, which is available on the City of Alpharetta website or by visiting any Alpharetta recreation facility.  Days and times for classes, workshops and other cultural arts events vary.

All classes are taught by experienced professionals and encourage discovery-based learning.  Instructor positions are available to qualified adults.  All interested candidates must successfully complete the City’s screening process.
