For 16 years, the Rotary Club of Alpharetta and City of Alpharetta have hosted the Alpharetta Mayor's Challenge Race.  On Friday Night, July 20, 2012, the Rotary Club and City of Alpharetta will partner again to hold our first night race, complete with a block party and movie night! 

To complement the new theme, the event has moved two blocks north to the Historic Downtown streets across from Alpharetta City Hall at 2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009.

Whether you run or not, you won’t want to miss this event.  Bring your running buddies, your friends and your family and enjoy a Midsummer Night’s Mayor’s Run and Fun Movie Night in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, while raising critical funds for North Fulton non-profits!
 

EVENING LINE-UP
6:30pm   Race check-In begins on Milton Avenue, along with the party, food, libations and sponsor booths on Milton Avenue.
7pm        Children's Healthcare Fun Run begins on Old Canton Street to Canton Street to Milton Avenue
7:30pm   Race warm-up begins at the corner of Milton Avenue and Canton Street
7:45pm   5K begins at the corner of Milton Avenue and Canton Street
8:45pm   Race awards and IPADs raffle winner announced

9pm        Movie "Mirror, Mirror" begins on a large inflatable screen on Milton Avenue.

DIRECTIONS TO EVENT
FROM GA 400 NORTH – Exit at Haynes Bridge Road.  Turn left off exit onto Haynes Bridge Road. Follow until Haynes Bridge Road until it   intersects with Old Milton Parkway.  Take a left onto Old Milton Parkway.  Stay on Old Milton Parkway until it intersects with South Main Street/Alpharetta Hwy. /SR 9.   Take a right onto South Main Street/Alpharetta Hwy. /SR 9 and the event site will be on your left across from City Hall (2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009).     
             
FROM GA 400 SOUTH – Exit at Old Milton Parkway.  Turn right off exit onto Old Milton Parkway.   Stay on Old Milton Parkway until it intersects with South Main Street/Alpharetta Hwy. /SR 9.   Take a right onto South Main Street/Alpharetta Hwy. /SR 9 and the event site will be on your left across from City Hall (2 South Main Street, Alpharetta, GA 30009).
