The City of Alpharetta is responsible for the collection of Hotel/Motel Tax. This 6% Tax is collected by area hotels and motels and then used to fund community development, sidewalk construction, and promote tourism within Alpharetta. Taxes collected will be based on the occupancy at each individual Hotel/Motel.
