Project Description: The City of Alpharetta will construct a wet detention pond on the upper reaches of a tributary to Foe Killer Creek. This detention pond will provide water quality treatment for the entire 28 acre drainage basin and channel protection volume to reduce the peak flows from smaller storms entering Foe Killer Creek. This project is made possible thanks to this grant and the Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant.

Project Description: The Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and two of its insurance agents, CSI Insurance Agency Inc. and Marine-N-Surance Brokers, partnered with the Rotary Club of Alpharetta and the City of Alpharetta to purachase a new fire safety house. The fire safety house is used by the Fire Prevention Division to teach children and youth home fire safety.
