Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Alpharetta Downtown Historic District will light up at the 37th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5, 2014. Celebration will fill the downtown streets in with Musical Performances, Santa, Snow, Food Trucks, Roasting Marshmallows, Farmer’s Market and more.

• Ride a Trolley Train to the Historic Log Cabin Tours from 5-7pm

• Have Fun in the Snow Playground on Old Roswell Street

• Roast Marshmallows around a Fire on Old Roswell Street

• Step into the Giant Snow Globe for a Free Holiday Photo

• Enjoy Free Children's Crafts, Jumpies and balloon twisting

Christmas festivities do not end with the tree lighting. Participating Alpharetta merchants will allow Elfaretta and his friends to hide in their stores, through December 18. Customers will attempt to find the mischievous little sprites in order to qualify to win one of five exciting prizes. Winners will be contacted and scheduled for a photo op at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2015 at State Bank and Trust. For more information, go to Alpharetta Business Association
