Armed Robbery Awareness Program: This program is presented to local businesses including banks and offers practical procedures they should follow to avoid an armed robbery or what to do in the event of an armed robbery. It highlights the police response procedures, deterrence, how a robber prepares, reacting to a robber, and steps to take after the robbery. Business Security Program: This program is offered to any business within the Alpharetta City limits. It highlights safe business practices and can be tailored to suit every type of business.
Vacation Safety Program: This program is presented to any organization, business, or civic group to explain different procedures to follow while on vacation including how to keep your home crime-free while you are away.

Bicycle Safety Program: This program is presented to children of all ages, and involves bicycle safety tips and a review of bicycle riding laws. Contact tosborne@alpharetta.ga.us
Drug and Alcohol Awareness Program: This program is presented to juveniles of all ages, adults, parent organizations, employees in the workplace, and is modified for each grade level. This program also uses a display of various drugs and drug paraphernalia to familiarize their design and use to the audience.
DUI Prevention Program: This program is presented to high school and college students, adult groups, and business groups. It consists of DUI laws and arrest procedures. Contact Captain T. Osborne 678-297-6305 or tosborne@alpharetta.ga.us
Gang Prevention Program: This program is presented to community residents, business groups, and the students of the local elementary, middle, and high schools to discuss the prevalence of gangs and the effects gangs have on the community.
Halloween Safety Program: This program provides Halloween Safety Tips and is presented to children of all ages and to any groups interested.
Holiday Safety Program: This program is presented to any group or organization to explain procedures to use to protect persons and property during holiday seasons such as safe shopping techniques.
Officer Friendly Program: This program is presented to children of all ages, and consists of a uniformed officer who discusses topics such as police identification, the duties of a police officer, and a safety talk. In addition, the children are shown a marked police vehicle.
Police Athletic League (PAL): This program is a nationally recognized non-profit association that brings Cop, Kids (ages 8-18), Corporations, and Communities together in activities, primarily sports but others as well, where mutual trust and respect can be built. Through sports, the kids learn how to be part of a team, develop social skills, and compete within a positive and supportive environment.

Police Explorers: The Alpharetta Police Enforcement Post 919 is a group of young adults, ages 14-20 who have sincere interest in the law enforcement profession and seek guidance from those who are already established in this field. The Explorers not only gain hands-on knowledge from their advisors, but they build self-respect, confidence, and ethical standards necessary to succeed in all types of professions. Rape and Assault Prevention Program: This program is offered to any church, school, business, or community group. The presentation will include how the prospect of rape must be faced and what preventative measures should be taken. Senior Safety Program: This program is presented to any senior citizen group. It includes a presentation which deals with home security, "flimflam" scams, protection from street crimes, and general safety tips while at home or away.
Shoplifting Awareness: This program is designed for and presented to local retail establishments and consists of preventative tips regarding internal and external theft. jallen@alpharetta.ga.us

Car Seat Check Program: It is the policy of this Department to assist the public in improving the protection of our children through a child safety seat program.
