THE CITY OF ALPHARETTA HAS APPROXIMATELY 450 EMPLOYEES in the Departments of City Administrator, Financial Services, Information Technology, Human Resources, Court Services, Engineering/Public Works, Community Development, Public Safety, Fire and Emergency Services, Police Services & Recreation and Parks.
Positions include: Administrative assistants, civil engineers, maintenance workers, inspectors, firefighters and emergency technicians, policemen, engineering technicians, program coordinators, public works technicians, accountants, and analysts.
The department of the City Attorney is staffed by consultants, working on a contractual basis on behalf of the City.
An application form must be submitted if you are to be considered for emplyment. In addition, a consent form is required for all Public safety positions. Clearly state the position applied for on the application. Employment and consent forms may NOT be completed and submitted online. Instead, please download, print and either fax to 678-297-6041 or mail the completed copies to the Human Resources Department.
