All City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks facilities/buildings are tobacco and smoke-free per City ordinance approved by Alpharetta City Council.

PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN ALPHARETTA AND MILTON: On November 5, 2012, the Mayors and City Councils of Alpharetta and Milton entered into a mutually beneficial agreement for the provision of parks and recreation services.  The agreement provides a framework for citizens of both cities to register for and participate in either cities' recreation programs before an "open" registration period is offered, and an annual payment tot he City providing the majority of the programming rather than that City's individual residents paying non-resident fees each time they register for a program in the adjoining City.  Milton residents pay resident fees for City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks programs.  For more information, email recreation@alpharetta.ga.us.
