Learn About Proposed Express Lanes On GA 400

Released January 11, 2019 04:36 PM
Alpharetta residents can learn about the proposed GA 400 Express Lanes Project during a February 28 open house being held at the Hilton Garden Inn located at 4025 Windward Plaza.  The open house will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:30 to 7:30 PM and is part of a series of such public information sessions being put on by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

The purpose of the series of meetings is to provide the public with opportunities to learn more about the project, ask questions, and provide feedback.

The GA 400 Express Lanes Project proposes to widen and construct express lanes on an approximately 16-mile section of GA 400 from the North Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5C) in Fulton County to approximately 0.9 miles north of McFarland Parkway (Exit 12) in Forsyth County.  GDOT officials state that the proposed express lanes would improve mobility and travel time reliability along the GA 400 corridor.

The public is invited to participate in any of the open house opportunities:
