29th Annual Taste of Alpharetta Offers Over 60 Local Restaurants, Live Music, Culinary Competition & More!

The 29th Annual Taste of Alpharetta on Thursday, May 2 will feature more than 60 restaurants ready to dish out their specialties for over 35,000 patrons. Alpharetta’s largest dinner party offers delicious options to suit every palate, as well as, a culinary competition, live music on three stages, a “Family Fun Zone” and more.


This free-admission event invites patrons to purchase food and activity tickets – 10 tickets for $5.00. Tickets are redeemed at participating restaurant booths for a wide selection of tastes that range from $.50 - $4.00.  Tickets may also be redeemed in the “Locally Grown” area and “Family Fun Zone” for a variety of activities including engaging educational experiences, inflatables and a variety of children’s activities.


This year the Taste of Alpharetta will offer music on three stages all night long. The stages are the Old Canton Stage sponsored by Music and Arts located on Old Canton Street, the Roswell Stage located at the corner of Roswell Street and Old Roswell Streets, and the Canton Stage located at the corner of Canton Street and Old Canton Streets.

Taste of Alpharetta’s Culinary Competition, located on Milton Avenue, will feature select restaurants competing in a variety of categories including Best Appetizer, Best Street Food, Best Fine Dining Entrée, Best Dessert, Best Presentation and Best Decorated Booth. The Culinary Stage will be hosted by Tad Lemire from Tad & Drex Mornings on B98.5. Culinary Judges for the 2019 competition include Jasmine Stewart, MasterChef Junior winner (Season 5); Clifton Hart, Pitmaster for Claude’s Q & KCBS Judge; Seth Freedman, PeachDish Culinary Director; Shannon Marsh, Salud! Cooking School Director; and Jason Autry, Whole Foods Market Local Forager. The Taste of Alpharetta Culinary Competition Awards will be presented at 8:15pm at the Culinary Stage.

The People’s Choice Award is open to all 2019 Taste of Alpharetta participating restaurants. This award will be presented based on the number of popular votes received from festival goers. Ballots will be available at the Culinary Competition Stage until 7pm.


Taste of Alpharetta offers complimentary shuttles and parking.
