Alpharetta to Host a Workshop on Creating a Fragrant Garden
People garden for various reasons. Some for beauty, others for health, nutrition, wildlife, etc. You can create a sense of place to your outdoor areas with a little intentional planting. One way to do that is adding fragrant plants! The City of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission, are pleased to host a free class taught by the North Fulton Master Gardeners on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Alpharetta Public Works Department, which is located at 1790 Hembree Road in Alpharetta.
Learn the secrets of creating enchanting fragrances in your garden to add a new dimension to it. This class identifies fragrant plants for each season. You will hear about fragrant container plants as well as annuals, perennials, shrubs, vines, roses and trees. Fragrances attract pollinators, too.
Please register on Eventbrite here https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-fragrant-garden-tickets-92378086343. We hope you will join us.
