Fix A Leak Week Begins March 16

Workshop Has Been Cancelled



Fulton County Public Works, City of Alpharetta and City of Milton to host a public workshop to provide tips on how to repair water leaks.


This coordinated effort is highlighting the importance of safe drinking water and the role of water efficiency and conservation efforts in conjunction with “Fix a Leak Week,” which is March 16 – 22.

As part of the annual campaign, we will host a “Fix a Leak Workshop” for the public. The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Water Resources Operations Center located at 11575 Maxwell Road, Alpharetta, Ga. 30009.

The workshop will teach participants how to conserve water and save on their water bills by finding and fixing common household leaks. There will be hands-on demonstrations and discussion by experts from Pete’s Plumbing. They will cover some of the simple leak repairs that can be done on your own as well as let you know when it is best to call a plumber.

Water Drop Dash

A second opportunity highlighting “Fix-A-Leak Week” will be the Water Drop Dash 5K.  It is a fast and flat PEACHTREE QUALIFYING course along the banks of the beautiful Chattahoochee River in Roswell, GA! This event promotes national WaterSense Fix--A-Leak Week and encourages metro Atlanta residents to conserve water.
