Additionally, Wire & Wood has introduced a special ticketed Listening Room event at Roaring Social on Saturday, October 14 at 3:00 p.m., featuring the talented singer/songwriter Angie Aparo. This exclusive, limited-capacity performance requires a $30 ticket for entry, with all proceeds benefiting the City of Alpharetta’s Music Match program. Tickets are on sale Friday, Sept. 15 at 10:00 a.m. on the Wire & Wood website.

The music-filled weekend begins on Thursday, October 12, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Wire & Wood Kick-Off Party. Avalon will host a special free concert at the Plaza featuring Joslyn & The Sweet Compression and Lilly Winwood.

"Each year, Wire & Wood attracts the best singers and songwriters to perform their original music, and this year's lineup will not disappoint," said City of Alpharetta Director of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services, Morgan Rodgers. "This festival’s expanded programming on Saturday offers even more opportunities to bring our community together to celebrate music and the artists who create it. The streets of downtown Alpharetta will be filled with the sound of music, an experience you won't want to miss."

Music enthusiasts can look forward to stage-hopping between six outdoor stages to experience an eclectic mix of artists over the two-day weekend. Marc Broussard brings his signature ‘Bayou Soul’ sound blending classic R&B, blues, rock, soul, and Southern roots to Wire & Wood as the headliner for Friday night. Saturday night, the festival features SUSTO, the Charleston-based indie rock band that blends rock, folk, and psychedelia with vivid storytelling, who has won over legions of loyal fans with their energetic live performances and have appeared at well-known music festivals such as Hangout, Stagecoach, and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
