Wire & Wood has announced the full entertainment schedule of national, regional, and local performers for the 2023 event to be held on Friday and Saturday, October 13 - 14, from 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. The popular free-admission festival will host more than thirty (30) performances on over six (6) outdoor stages. New and different this year, the festival has expanded programming to start on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. on the patio at the Hamilton Hotel and on the Town Green Stage presented by Dunkin’.
Additionally, Wire & Wood has introduced a special ticketed Listening Room event at Roaring Social on Saturday, October 14 at 3:00 p.m., featuring the talented singer/songwriter Angie Aparo. This exclusive, limited-capacity performance requires a $30 ticket for entry, with all proceeds benefiting the City of Alpharetta’s Music Match program. Tickets are on sale Friday, Sept. 15 at 10:00 a.m. on the Wire & Wood website.
The music-filled weekend begins on Thursday, October 12, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Wire & Wood Kick-Off Party. Avalon will host a special free concert at the Plaza featuring Joslyn & The Sweet Compression and Lilly Winwood.
"Each year, Wire & Wood attracts the best singers and songwriters to perform their original music, and this year's lineup will not disappoint," said City of Alpharetta Director of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services, Morgan Rodgers. "This festival’s expanded programming on Saturday offers even more opportunities to bring our community together to celebrate music and the artists who create it. The streets of downtown Alpharetta will be filled with the sound of music, an experience you won't want to miss."
Music enthusiasts can look forward to stage-hopping between six outdoor stages to experience an eclectic mix of artists over the two-day weekend. Marc Broussard brings his signature ‘Bayou Soul’ sound blending classic R&B, blues, rock, soul, and Southern roots to Wire & Wood as the headliner for Friday night. Saturday night, the festival features SUSTO, the Charleston-based indie rock band that blends rock, folk, and psychedelia with vivid storytelling, who has won over legions of loyal fans with their energetic live performances and have appeared at well-known music festivals such as Hangout, Stagecoach, and Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Simultaneous to the festival, the City of Alpharetta’s Music Match program will showcase sixteen (16) performances at ten (10) downtown businesses within the event footprint. Music Match is an ongoing city program supported by the Alpharetta Convention & Visitor's Bureau, aiming to spotlight local talent and bring a vibrant music scene to downtown Alpharetta.
Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to savor a wide variety of delicious food and beverage options from local restaurants in Downtown Alpharetta, many of which will offer convenient to-go packages. Due to the expected high demand for restaurants, attendees are encouraged to call ahead to place orders for pick-up.
Getting to Wire & Wood Music Festival is easier than ever, with numerous transportation options available. Free parking is conveniently located throughout the downtown area, including the City Hall Parking Deck at 2 Park Plaza, the parking deck at 92 Milton Avenue, and the 45 Roswell Street parking lot. For those utilizing ride-share services, the drop-off/pick-up location is at 37 Old Roswell Street. Outdoor stages will offer limited seating on a first-come, first-served basis, but attendees are welcome to bring their own portable chairs.
