Alpharetta To Host Workshop On The Basics Of Vegetable Gardening

First time vegetable gardeners and those looking to grow their gardening skills can take advantage of a program being offered free.  “The Basics of Vegetable Gardening” will be presented on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Alpharetta City Hall, which is located at 2 Park Plaza in Alpharetta.  Seating is limited, and pre-registration is encouraged.


Master Gardeners will explain tips and tricks to make the most out of your backyard vegetable garden.  The program will cover soil preparation, garden planning, seasonal planting, mulching, weed control, pest control and fertilizing.
