Recycling Collection For Computers & Unwanted Electronics

Come support the City of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta Natural Resources Commission to keep the environment clean and recycle your unwanted electronics! North Fulton businesses and residents will be able to recycle computers and other electronic equipment on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 8:30am until Noon.  The location will be at the Alpharetta Department of Public Works, 1790 Hembree Road, Alpharetta, Georgia. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicle. We will unload for you.

The City of Alpharetta has teamed up with “Atlanta Recycling Solutions” to accomplish the collection.  The event is designed to give residents and businesses the opportunity to properly recycle and dispose electronic waste. Atlanta Recycling Solutions recycles everything it accepts and materials are never sent to be processed in developing nations – everything is done here in North America! 

See the attached list of acceptable items free of charge.

Please note that there will be cash charge for:

Acceptable televisions $30.00 each

CRT Devices              $15.00 each

Projection TV’s           $50.00 each


No console units, or TV tubes are accepted. Please note that ARS is only able to accept cash for these items.


The following items will not be accepted:

•   Console TV’s

•   TV tubes

•   Small appliances

•   Microwave ovens

•   Tires

•   Refrigerators

•   Freezers

•   Trash

•   Humidifiers and dehumidifiers

•   Washers

•   Dryers

•   Power equipment

•   Vacuum cleaners

•   Ovens
