Released May 15, 2023 10:40 AM

Incredible music is set to fill the air in Downtown Alpharetta during the Wire & Wood Alpharetta songwriters festival. Celebrating its tenth year, Wire & Wood will take place on Friday and Saturday, October 13 and 14 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The free admission festival will showcase more than thirty performances by singer-songwriters representing a variety of music genres on six outdoor stages throughout Downtown Alpharetta. This year’s headliners for the festival will be Marc Broussard and SUSTO.

The Wire & Wood Alpharetta songwriters festival will feature Marc Broussard on Friday, October 13. Marc brings the spirit of classic R&B, rock and soul into contemporary terms. As the son of the Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist of “The Boogie Kings”, Marc’s love and talent for music has been nurtured from an early age. Without a doubt, you will groove to the beat when Marc takes the stage.

On Saturday, October 14, get ready to rock in Downtown Alpharetta when SUSTO performs as the headliner for the night. This indie rock band from Charleston has performed at other well-known music festivals such as Hangout, Stagecoach and Austin City Limits, giving them the experience of commanding a stage and wowing the crowd.

In addition to the performances across the six stages, the Wire & Wood Alpharetta songwriters festival is partnering with Music Match - a program created to bring local musicians to restaurants and venues throughout the city to create a vibrant music scene year-round in Alpharetta. You will find these musicians throughout Downtown over the weekend.
