COURT SERVICES

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and CDC guidance on social distancing, the City of Alpharetta Municipal Court is closed through April 12, 2020.  If you have a scheduled hearing during this period, your case will be continued and notification of the rescheduled hearing date will be sent to the address on record.  Unfortunately, as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we cannot at this time guarantee that the Court will reopen as planned on April 12 or if the situation will necessitate an extended closure.

Please note that, while we are closed, our staff is working remotely.  If you call the Alpharetta Municipal Court, please leave a message so that we may contact you.

Thank you for your patience.

The Municipal Court hears and adjudicates cases involving possible violations of City Ordinances and certain state laws. The Municipal Judge shall maintain law and order in the City to resolve disputes and to comply with the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution and laws of the State of Georgia, and the Charter and Code of Ordinances of the City of Alpharetta.
