Rainy day at the ballpark? No problem! Got it covered with the NEW 6300 square foot baseball pavilion at Wills Park, which includes 8 batting cages, 2 pitching lanes, an open warm-up area, and energy efficient LED lighting.
Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association, in partnership with the Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department, announced the grand opening of the covered baseball pavilion this past Saturday. The park was buzzing with excitement from players, as representatives from AYBA and the City of Alpharetta officially cut the ribbon to open the new pavilion.
“We are proud of the partnership and commitment between AYBA and the City, which provided a successful realization of this project,” said Scott Williamson, AYBA president. “This new baseball pavilion is a fantastic addition to Wills Park and will benefit ball players for many years to come.”
AYBA manages a variety of baseball programs in conjunction with Alpharetta Recreation and Parks, including Rec, Travel, Select, Out-of-Park, and Feeder baseball programs for ages 4-19 during spring, summer and fall seasons.
