Express your inner creativity with Alpharetta Recreation and Parks art programs for adults:

Wheel Thrown Pottery teaches basic techniques for creating clay vessels on the wheel, led by Rosita Czekala. Eight-week sessions offered morning, afternoon, or evening starting September 5

Painting classes offer instruction in technique at all levels, using oil, acrylic or watercolor to create landscapes, abstracts, or paint from still life and photos. Multi-week daytime sessions led by instructors Kip Rogers or Maureen Engle, starting the week of September 5

Drawing and Painting uses basic drawing ideas of shading, perspective and composition to work towards painting. Thursday, 6-7:30pm with Kip Rogers. Six-week session starts September 7

Art–Master in Me studies styles of master artists with instructor Leena Joshi, before students create their own painting from photos or still life. Tuesday, 1-3pm. Six-weeks starting September 5

Drama Club provides an outlet for adults 50+ to show off their creative entertainer side! Have fun developing, producing or acting in plays and shows. Meets 1:30pm on 2nd Wednesday

Brush and Bean is a coffee and canvas paint party, even for folks who don’t paint! Relaxed group setting with artist Jennifer Tanksley guiding step-by-step replication of a featured painting. Supplies furnished, light refreshments provided. Join the fun on Saturday, 1-4pm, October 14
