Kickstart The New Year With Fitness Fun

Get moving in January with active programs for all ages, offered by Alpharetta Recreation and Parks:

Aerobic Fitness includes step training for cardio, followed by PYW (Pilates, yoga, weight training). Class is 60-minutes, with a shorter workout available by selecting 30-minutes of PYW. Choose from classes offered morning or evening, weekday or weekend. New session for adults starts week of January 8 at Wills Park Recreation Center, 678-297-6130

Yoga improves posture, relaxes the mind, and is a great core workout. Morning and evening sessions offered. New session for adults starts week of January 9 at Crabapple Government Center, 678-297-6165

Instructional Sports focus on teaching specific skills in a fun environment, concentrating on individual abilities and game aspects of each sport. Includes: Baseball or Soccer (age 4-7, indoors), Co-ed Basketball (age 4-7), and Girls Basketball (age 8-14). Six-week sessions start week of January 8 at Alpharetta Community Center, 678-297-6100

Tennis Instruction offers Junior Recreational or Junior Performance Programs for ages 4-18. Next session begins week of January 8 at North Park Tennis Center, 678-297-6140

Indoor Tennis blends tennis, fitness and fun for ages 4-6 and 7-9. Afternoon sessions begin week of January 9 at Wills Park Recreation Center, 678-297-6130

Lil’ Vibe inspires youth to be active and healthy by offering dance movement, fun fitness, and kid-friendly wellness activities. Eight-week session for ages 4-10 starts January 15 at Wills Park Recreation Center, 678-297-6130
