WHAT: Mid-Broadwell Park Design Community Input Session
WHEN: Wednesday, August 21; 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. (drop-in hours)
WHERE: Future Site of Mid-Broadwell Park; 1480 Mid Broadwell Rd.
The City of Alpharetta invites residents to a community input session, Wednesday, August 21, to review the proposed design concepts for the future Mid-Broadwell Park site. Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services representatives and City Council Members will be available for discussion and feedback during the drop-in hours of 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the future park site of 1480 Mid Broadwell Road, Alpharetta, GA.
A draft park design plan will be on display for attendees to review. “It is important that we engage the community in this process and we hope residents will offer their feedback at this critical step in the park planning process,” said Jason Binder, City of Alpharetta Council Member and liaison to the Recreation, Parks & Cultural Services Department.
Scheduled to open in Summer 2020, Mid-Broadwell Park will add 4.1 acres to Alpharetta’s current 832 acres of maintained park land, and will get the city closer to its goal of having a park within a 10-minute walk for all residents.
