City of Alpharetta and Home By Dark Productions bring A Song Can Change Your Life Podcast to the Alpharetta Arts Center starting this Friday, February 21, 2020 from 12-1p.m featuring Pat Terry.

 

A Song Can Change Your Life Podcast series will feature one-on-one interviews with different professional songwriters each month from the Alpharetta Arts Center Black Box. Episodes may cover a variety of subjects such as the writer’s background, their introduction to songwriting, the creative process, the demo recording  process, pitching songs, the business of professional songwriting, sources of inspiration, and poignant moments in their career. Every show focuses on one song from the writer’s catalog that has had significant impact on the world, the writer, or the host.

The podcast series is part of a larger initiative for the City of Alpharetta under the Alpharetta Music Project Strategy (AMPS) with the mission of creating a framework that empowers the community's music culture through listening and educational musical experiences. Other city initiatives that have been supported within the AMPS strategy include the Music Match program that connects local musicians with local businesses while bringing more live music to Alpharetta.
