Get MOVING and join Alpharetta's month long Walktober Challenge! Free guided walks are scheduled nearly EVERY DAY in October with a member from Alpharetta Recreation staff.
Did You Know the American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes of heart-healthy exercise per week? Walking is a great way to meet that goal.
You have been challenged to walk your way to health this fall! Join in the guided walks and get healthy with members of your community!
Free! No registration necessary.
WHEN & WHERE

- Mondays – 6-7pm: Wills Park; meet at the pavilion behind the Alpharetta Community Center located at 175 Roswell Street
- Tuesdays – 4:30 – 5:30pm: Cogburn Park; meet at the greenspace behind the playground located at 12825 Cogburn Road.
- Wednesdays – 12:30 – 1:30pm: Webb Bridge Park; meet at the map trailhead near the soccer fields located at 4780 Webb Bridge Road
- Thursdays - 6pm – 7pm: NEW Alpha Loop in downtown Alpharetta; meet at the front of City Hall located at 2 Park Plaza.
- Fridays – 9-10am: On the Greenway; meet at Preston Ridge Park located 3655 Preston Ridge Road (right before the YMCA)
- Saturdays – 9-10am: Wills Park; meet at the pavilion behind the Alpharetta Community Center located at 175 Roswell Street
