Alcoholic Beverage Licensing

The City of Alpharetta requires all businesses or individuals who wish to sell or offer for sale any alcoholic beverages to have an alcoholic beverage license.

PLEASE NOTE:  Per Section 4-19 of The Code of the City of Alpharetta Section, any establishment that has not fully completed the yearly alcohol license renewal process (which requires submitting a renewal application and paying their 2024 license fees and any applicable late fees) by the close of business on Friday, December 15th, 2023, will no longer have an active license after December 31, 2023.  Once your license is no longer active, you will be required to reapply as if you were a new establishment and will not be permitted to sell alcoholic beverages until a future license is approved by City Council.
