    Glass Jars From Top

    Glass Recycling

In preparation for the return of residential glass recycling on December 5, Alpharetta residents will soon receive their new 18-gallon bins for collection of glass recyclables.  Republic Services, the city’s waste and recycling vendor, will be delivering the bins to customers November 13 through 18.

Beginning December 5, glass items must be separated from other recyclable materials and placed at the curb on your regular service day in a separate 18-gallon plastic bin for collection.  Residents who do not wish to recycle glass have the option of submitting an online form requesting that a bin not be provided to them.  The form can also be used to request that an already delivered bin be taken back.

***It is important to note that even if you choose to not receive a bin or recycle glass items, you will be charged the full applicable rates***
