Waters Road Park Opens

Waters Road Park, the City of Alpharetta’s newest public park space officially opened on May 16. Located at 3395 Kimball Bridge Road, the 1.6-acre park features a walking trail, playground, restroom facilities, and passive greenspace.
Waters Road Park is designed as a neighborhood park, which means it is intended primarily to serve residents who live within walking distance. As a result, and to maximize the amount of land dedicated to fun and enjoyment, there is limited space designated for vehicle parking.
The $1.25 million buildout of Waters Road Park is one of the projects funded by the $29.5 million Parks Bond that was approved by Alpharetta voters in November 2021. The funds from that bond are helping the City of Alpharetta reach its goal of having a park within a 10-minute walk of every Alpharetta resident and is also bringing improvements to many of our existing public parks.
