Arts Alpharetta hosts its annual
Paint the Town event — a fabulous
plein air painting competition. This 5-day competition begins on May 7 as artists paint around town all week. The event culminates on Saturday, May 11 with an evening awards ceremony and reception at the Alpharetta Arts Center that evening.
Watch the artists in action at well-known locations throughout Alpharetta including downtown as well as City parks, gardens and more. Multiple opportunities to purchase original art created on site during the event and exhibition. Proceeds from the event will directly fund two Arts Alpharetta initiatives: the ongoing public art program and “Take Out Art” which supplies free art kits to children in need in our community.
