The City of Alpharetta and Alpharetta & Old Milton County Historical Society partnered to create Saving Farm House, a documentary 12 minute film. The movie tells the story of Alpharetta’s original settlement and the hope of saving the site for future generations.

Alpharetta, Milton County: The Early Years Book  
Written in celebration for the sesquicentennial anniversary of Alpharetta from 1858–2008 by preserving history in a pictorial book written by Connie Mashburn, Alpharetta Historian. Book is $35 plus tax and available for purchase at Alpharetta City Hall.

Alpharetta & Old Milton County History Museum

The history museum is comprised of a permanent collection of artifacts and interpretative displays which guides the viewer through a chronological timeline of Alpharetta’s past. The City’s history is deeply connected with the neighboring cities in North Fulton, therefore the museum reaches beyond the current boundaries of Alpharetta.

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30am - 5pm / Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm / Saturdays & Sundays by Appointment / Open during Public Meetings
